In our thriller opening the main character is dressed in a casual style, in black jeans and a grey t-shirt, along with some dirty converses as well as a jacket, scarf and a bag which she carries with her. The costume which she is wearing, indicates that she is a young 16-18 year old girl who is a student. in the picture on the right it shows how the girl is presented, we can see that she is dressed in a nice casual way, with her make up all done up, this conforms to the stereotype of girls always looking well presented out. However, the image on the left shows different we see that her make up is all messed up with mud on face, this challenges the stereotype of young girls, as they are seen to be clean, as well as being vulnerable. The picture on the left shows that the character is presented quite messy, which shows how scared and frustrated she is.
