For our script, we made a plan of what we thought our character should say :
When it came to actually filming Shannon's part, she briefly followed the script, but we all agreed we thought it was better if she read over it a few times, and then filmed without it in front of her, allowing her to improvise a bit as well, as this made her emotions look less staged and because it seemed more natural, it allows the audience to connect to her character more and feel what she was feeling. I think that this was a success as Shannon's acting made her character come to life and I felt that the part was believable.
